What are design guidelines & website visibility? Webmaster guidelines where developed by Google and page rank was developed by Larry Page and Sergey Brin who help later in the development phase of page-rank. Google guidelines are to help web developers and designer build important and relevant sites for Google to index.

Without these guidelines we could take advantage of the system. Developing a e-site that is relevant and important to users is a tough challenge. Most expert understand how to design a site but are having difficult times keeping users interested in their content. Offering something that is unique in content or a presentation is keeps visitors interested and comming back for more.

The design of a e-site helps visually. However, design is not what keeps people coming back or even telling a friend.

Google has done yet again another great job trying to organize the Internet. Google publishes guidelines for (masters) to follow when designing their site. However, some “webmasters” do not know about these guidelines and there are those who understand them but do not follow them or try to trick search engines. Penalties for not following search engine guidelines means exclusion from their servers and their index. We do everything by the book & Google should love the content your site will provide for users. “Make a site with a clear hierarchy and text links. Every page should be reachable from at least one static text link. Don't participate in link schemes designed to increase your site's ranking or Page Rank.
